Gothic Beauty... Ode to the Clishe

I am entering this months 'gnomon competition and this is my entry for the theme "Gothic Beauty"
I managed to avoid crows and angel wings, tears and emo looks!

Gestures and a T-face

I have been inspired to get my figures improved... so I have been doing some gestures on a pre-printed proportion grid based on Loomis. I wanted to be forced to put things in the right place to get in the habit of it.

The face was for a competition at work to make a self portrait as a terminator to win stuff. I got a poster in the end, but was aiming for the artbook. This is the first self portrait I have done in many years. Bit messed up though...
